John Negroponte

John D. Negroponte (1939-) is on the faculty of Yale University, teaching Studies in Grand Strategy. He was a career U.S. Foreign Service Officer who worked for a number of administrations going back to the Vietnam War.
Most recently, he was Deputy Secretary of State in the George W. Bush Administration, after serving as Director of National Intelligence and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq.
