  • Is Nazarene movements (plural) correct in the first paragraph?
  • The statement "centered in cities and towns" requires some clarification or elaboration. I get the overall point (churches as part of broader pattern of urbanization) but the suggestion that all churches were in cities and towns is wide of the mark; in many parts of the country (Appalachia, the South, Midwest) "country churches" were - and continue to be - frequent and widespread.
