River first in GB

I appreciate that the name of the river comes first in North America but British rivers are always expressed as "River X", and never as "X River". So, we also say River Clyde, River Mersey, River Severn, etc.

In metadata, of course, we would use "abc = Thames, River". Thanks. John (talk) 22:21, 14 January 2024 (CST)
