Susie Amy (born 17 April 1981 in London, United Kingdom, England, U.K.) is a British actress best known for her portrayal of Chardonnay Lane in the long-running British series Footballers' Wives.

Biography

Susie Amy is an English television and film actress who was born in London and raised in Surrey with her parents and sister. She began her acting career in theater in the late 1990's, eventually landing an agent and appearing in one episode of the British sitcom My Family in 2001. The following year, she took on the role of Helen Grey in the British mini-series Sirens. It was her role as sex-starved Chardonnay Lane, however, that made Amy a household name in her native country, a role that she played for two years. Later in 2002, she placed 74th on the FHM U.K. edition's list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World. Following her departure from the show, Amy landed roles in episodes of the British television series' Hotel Babylon, The Royal and Doctors, as well as the television movie Le Femme Musketeer and the theatrical film House of 9. She continues to work in British theater, as well.

Miss Amy has three movies set for release in 2007: Two Families, Psych: 9 and Cowboys for Christ.
