Echis carinatus sinhaleyus is a venomous viper subspecies[2] endemic to Sri Lanka.[3]

Geographic range

Found only in Sri Lanka.[3] The type locality is described as "Chavakachcheri, Jaffna Peninsula" (Northern Province, Sri Lanka).[1]
