The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. The team was founded in 1993 as an expansion team in the National League. [1] [2] [3]

Championships

The team has never had a championship-winning season where they won the World Series. They were National League champions, but lost in the World Series, 1 time, in 2007. [4]

The team has been based in Denver since its inception in 1993. They have played their home games at the following stadiums. [5] [6] [7]

  • 1993-1994: Mile High Stadium
  • 1995-present: Coors Field

They have been known as the Colorado Rockies for their entire history.
