Definition

In its most common usage, a zoo is a place where animals are kept for the amusement of human visitors. Another usage of the word 'zoo' is to refer to a situation or a place that is cluttered or consists of a disparate grouping of separate elements.

Famous zoos

There are many zoos in towns and cities around the world.

Some however have become well known and often attract many tourists interested in visiting the zoo as part of visiting that particular city.
