::Oliver, read your concerns on the talk page of [[Cancer]]. We are just getting started at CZ, but I think you will notice a different in audience between [[Biology]] and [[RNA interference]]. For such topics as, say, Breast cancer, there can be an article Breast Cancer and then there can be an article Ductal carcinoma, in which the level- even if medical, changes. There certainly can be articles like Mutagenesis or Molecular mechanisms in immunosurveillance that are much more technical. We have not solved the level problem entirely.
