::Oliver, read your concerns on the talk page of Cancer. We are just getting started at CZ, but I think you will notice a different in audience between Biology and RNA interference. For such topics as, say, Breast cancer, there can be an article Breast Cancer and then there can be an article Ductal carcinoma, in which the level- even if medical, changes. There certainly can be articles like Mutagenesis or Molecular mechanisms in immunosurveillance that are much more technical. We have not solved the level problem entirely. If there is a particular subject, as a start, on the German wikiedia that you wish had a different focus, somethying you know about, start an article- alert me on my talk page, and I'll help youkeep it on the level and focus that you desire. This can best be done,I think, by giving it a technical title - which Cancer purposefully is not. Nancy Sculerati 06:39, 3 June 2007 (CDT)

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Oliver, read your concerns on the talk page of Cancer. We are just getting started at CZ, but I think you will notice a different in audience between Biology and RNA interference. For such topics as, say, Breast cancer, there can be an article Breast Cancer and then there can be an article Ductal carcinoma, in which the level- even if medical, changes. There certainly can be articles like "Mutagenesis" or "Molecular mechanisms in immunosurveillance" that are much more technical. We have not solved the level problem entirely. If there is a particular subject, as a start, on the German wikiedia that you wish had a different focus, something you know about, start an article- alert me on my talk page, and I'll help you keep it on the level and focus that you desire. This can best be done, I think, by giving it a technical title - which Cancer purposefully is not. Nancy Sculerati 06:39, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
