Jacob Roecker is a decorated two time veteran of Iraq whose list of military awards includes the Bronze Star Medal.  Jacob is a currently a Junior Majoring in Speech Communication and a transfer student from the University of Maryland.  In one semester he has organized a 5K run that generated a $1000 charitable donation, won second place in the English Department’s creative writing contest for his non-fiction essay “Stripped: A Microexperience,” volunteered as a guest lecturer in Preston Idaho teaching Microsoft PowerPoint, and maintained a course load of over 25 credits.  Jacob's greatest skills are often observed by his ability to organize and conceptualize broad concepts.  Jacob earned the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 15 and has remained loyal to the principle of service ever since.
