[edit intro]

Purpose

To enable editing only the intro section of an article, which is useful to people who have slower internet connections, and may help prod such editing. See this forums post for more.

Usage
  1. Place {{editintro}} atop any page but below the {{subpages}} template.
  2. Place {{subst:editintro-talknote}} atop but below the {{subpages}} template and {{WPimport}} template (if it exists) on the article's talk page.
Notes

I'm sure this can be worked into the subpages template with ifexist perimeters. That way, it shows up by default and simply disappears when an article becomes approved. But for now, this template must be manually added, and then removed just prior article approval, since __NOEDITSECTION__ included in the approval fails to kill this template.
