Hi John, I did a minute's worth of checking and found that there's an official *website* called '''Indy500.com''' -- because, I assume, as we all know, spaces cannot be used between words in web address. But, once you get to that site, you will find that *they* refer to the race as the '''Indy 500''', with a space between them. In about 60 years of vaguely following this race, I don't recall ever seeing it called the Indy500. Always has a space....[[User:Hayford Peirce|Hayford Peirce]] 21:13, 7 March 2010 (UTC) | |||

Indy 500 is correct, not Indy500
Hi John, I did a minute's worth of checking and found that there's an official *website* called Indy500.com -- because, I assume, as we all know, spaces cannot be used between words in web address. But, once you get to that site, you will find that *they* refer to the race as the Indy 500, with a space between them. In about 60 years of vaguely following this race, I don't recall ever seeing it called the Indy500. Always has a space....Hayford Peirce 21:13, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
