As a Canadian, I've never ''heard'' of "Citizens for a Canadian Republic." What's more, the poll mentioned ''cries'' for a citation:
:"Throughout history, although mild and nearly quiet, there has been calls by some Canadians, including the Citizens for a Canadian Republic, to abolish the monarchy and establish Canada as a republic. In fact, over 50% of Canadians in a recent poll want to have the monarchy abolished in Canada once Queen Elizabeth II dies."

The Monarchy

As a Canadian, I've never heard of "Citizens for a Canadian Republic." What's more, the poll mentioned cries for a citation:

"Throughout history, although mild and nearly quiet, there has been calls by some Canadians, including the Citizens for a Canadian Republic, to abolish the monarchy and establish Canada as a republic. In fact, over 50% of Canadians in a recent poll want to have the monarchy abolished in Canada once Queen Elizabeth II dies."
