Hi Ben,
Here are some suggestions for further improvements to your encyclopedia entry draft. I'm going to stick to the sections you've already started developing, but keep in mind that you still need to fill in the others as well as the related articles, bibliography, and external links subpages.
* You might make the section on the AAUP's founding more reader-friendly by providing more context; for example, more background information about the four individuals you mention and more information about how Lovejoy and Dewey went about founding their organization. Also, what happened in the 15-year interim between Ross's firing and the foundation of the AAUP? You might want to research beyond the AAUP's website for this.
* Once the "Founding" subsection is done, you might create additional subsections within the "History" section to chronicle the AAUP's development since the 1910s.
* In the "Current Objectives and Activities" section, make sure to provide information about the national organization, not one of its state branches.
* The information you provide in the "Organizational structure" section should be presented in essay rather than list form.
* Instead of parentheses in your text, source citations should be in the form of footnotes made following the instructions on the handout about writing your encyclopedia article.
