Ruben Hinojosa is a U.S. Representative, (D-Texas). His 15th District includes the Rio Grande Valley, historic Goliad County and the Coastal Bend region. While of the region is rural, however Hidalgo and Cameron Counties are part of the third fastest growing Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area in the United States.
