Halo: Combat Evolved is a first-person shoot-'em-up game for the Microsoft Xbox and PC platforms, made by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios in 2001. It is the first in the three part Halo series, and was one of the launch games for the Xbox platform. The game launched to much critical acclaim holding a average Metacritic score of 97%.
