All Hallow's Eve, or Halloween is a holiday that occurs on the 31st of October, and is steeped in tradition and myth. To most Americans Halloween is the day to participate in Trick-or-Treating, which grants people of all ages the privilege to travel from door-to-door, dressed in costume and disguise to collect candy and other festive treats. This holiday is one of a couple throughout the year that sales of candy reach a high.

Halloween parties are also customary; guests are tasked with showing up in costume to the host's location in order to truly "celebrate". Additionally, many cities often have a special nightlife dedicated to the event with bars offering specials and contests such as "best costume" and "worst costume".
