Welcome to the Group Status page

This page lists everyone using the Userinfo System. Its purpose is to clue us into each other's general plans, roles, and so forth, allowing us to coordinate our activity more efficiently.

This list is meant for everyone--not just editors, not just very active people--so please add yourself. We think you'll find it very useful. But how do you add yourself? When first getting started, it takes a little doing, but it's not too hard. Simply follow the complete instructions at CZ:Userinfo System; one of the steps given there is to add yourself below.

See below for more about this page.

The table (add yourself here!)

The following is Citizens A-M. See page two for N-Z.

You must add your username to the list manually in order for your data to show up in these tables!

About this page

The full explanation of how this page works can be found at Userinfo System. In brief, you create an info file (it takes the form of a "template") for yourself, and then your info can show up in multiple places. For example, Joe Quick has a user info page for general CZ stuff and another one for Anthropology Workgroup activities. This info is then nicely displayed in three different places: Joe's userplan, the Anthropology Workgroup status page, and also the table above.

This template appears to "break" with more than around 15 rows, because of the limitations of the software. As the list of users listed here expands, we should add pages, so that no page has more than 15 (or so) rows. Right now, this is done manually, but a system to make the pages automatic may be possible. (If you're technically adept with MediaWiki templates, your help would be appreciated.)

A technical explanation will appear on CZ:Userinfo System Documentation.
