In cricket, Australia's national women's team consists of players from the six state sides which contest the Women's National Cricket League, the country's main domestic competition. Management and selection of the team is done by Cricket Australia which was created in 2003 as a merger of the Australian Women's Cricket Association (WCA; founded in 1931) and the men's game's Australian Cricket Board (ACB). Australia Women is a full member of the International Cricket Conference (ICC) and has been playing Women's Test cricket since December 1934 when the inaugural Women's Test series began against the touring England Women. Australia Women made their first overseas tour in 1937 when they visited the Netherlands and England.
