Sponsored by the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University, the Feminist Sexual Ethics Project perhaps should have "religion" added to its name, as its focus is on "sexual ethics within Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and you can learn how the toleration of slavery in the early teachings of these religions affects the lives of women today."[1] It is supported by the University and the Ford Foundation.

There are sections on references and ongoing research in:

  • Slavery, Sexuality & Religion
  • Jewish sexual ethics
  • Christian sexual ethics
  • Muslim sexual ethics
