When you look west and can see the Mississippi River like this, it means you're in Vicksburg.

Vicksburg, Mississippi is a small city located on bluffs above the Mississippi river, renowned as having been the site of a decisive 1863 American Civil War battle. The city's population as of the 2010 census was 23,856, but twice as many people live in the surrounding Warren county, of which it is the only city and county seat. Vicksburg is on the east side of the Mississippi, across from Louisiana.
