I want to give conceptual examples, but generally don't think actual router configurations are appropriate for CZ -- maybe a selected command or two. Part of the challenge is that most of the BGP books (and some of the presentations) are quite vendor specific; Greene & Smith, and Halabi & McPherson, are great if you want to jump directly into Cisco configurations. In my own book, as well as some of the RFCs and NANOG presentations I'll cite, they are deliberately vendor neutral -- any routing policies are in the Routing Policy Specification Language, which is abstract.

Still trying to find the right balance of defining multihoming problems to solve, giving an idea of the kind of mechanism to solve it, without going into actual configuration. Howard C. Berkowitz 14:35, 24 July 2008 (CDT)
