A Forklift truck is a piece of equipment that was designed to lift and carry a load. There are many different kinds of forklifts. The most common type is a four wheel sit down. The four wheel sit down comes in gasoline, LP gas, diesel gas and electric. Four wheel sit down trucks are commonly referred to as counter balanced trucks. This means that the load is carried in the front and it is counterbalanced by the frame, the engine, the transmission and a counter weight.
