Petite-cut fries, sometimes called shoestring fries. Very thinly cut French fries.

Steak fries, also called ranch fries. Thickly cut french fries.
Crinkle-cut fries. Potatoes are cut with a special tool to form the "crinkle" shape, then prepared. These have have been purchased frozen and fried at home.
