Great to have a Yogananda page here
PAT PALMER, thanks for starting this. I think it's an important entry to have in a general encyclopedia, especially one based in the United States. I like how you created an explanation for both spellings of his title, which I may add a brief word of explanation about. I think it's fairly well known that the title of Param-hansa is from the legend of a [supreme] swan. The swan [hansa] is said to have a mythical ability to only sip the cream from a mixture of milk, spitting out the watery part. The spiritual master is likewise said to be able to live in a world like a swan, and only see the divine, instead of all the evil mixed in there too, which the normal person sees. Jack S. - Thanks for growing this article. It's coming along nicely. Let me know when you think it's ready, and we'll feature it on the wiki's front page for a few days. Pat Palmer (talk) 10:54, 15 July 2024 (CDT)
- thanks for your kind words, Pat. It probably still needs a little more work, but I'll let you know if we get there. Best, Jack S. Byrom (talk) 14:45, 15 July 2024 (CDT)
