In pharmcology, buspirone is a stimulant of serotonin that is an agonist of the 5-hydroxytryptamine1A receptor.

Clinical uses

Buspirone is "likely to be beneficial" for the treatment of generalized anxiety according to Clinical Evidence.[1]
