Intracranial hemorrhage

In medicine, intracranial hemorrhage is "bleeding within the skull, including hemorrhages in the brain and the three membranes of meninges. The escape of blood often leads to the formation of hematoma in the cranial epidural, subdural, and subarachnoid spaces."

Types

• Hypertensive intracranial hemorrhage. It is unclear how much to lower the blood pressure shortly after a hypertensive intracranial hemorrhage.
• Subarachnoid hemorrhage
• Traumatic cerebral hemorrhage
