Prejudice, an unjustifiable bias in favour of or against a particular individual or group is a rush to judgement. It is a complex set of emotions which may be based on stereotype, on fear of the unknown, or prior experience transferred to all members of a group. Anyone can feel prejudice, but it is acting based on prejudice that causes the real damage.
