The 1967 Arab-Israeli War, often called the "Six-Day War", was a short conflict between Israel and a coalition of Arab states from 5 to 10 June 1967. By means of pre-emptive strikes, especially air attacks against the Egyptian and Syrian air forces, Israel won a decisive victory and captured the West Bank, Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Golan Heights.
