Hello World is the first program that a programmer writes. It introduces the programmer to the constructs that he/she will be dealing with in the particular language at hand. Another such quintessential program, the 99 Bottles of Beer program, prints the lyrics to the past-time song "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" from 99 to 0 and terminates.
