Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Catherine Elizabeth, popularly 'Kate', née Middleton, born 9th January 1982), is the wife of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. She was born in England and studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she met her future husband. She subsequently worked as an accessories buyer before her marriage into the British Royal Family in April 2011.
