Founded in 2003 with a grant from Frank Lowy, AC, to mark the 50th anniversary of his arrival in Australia, the Lowy Institute for International Policy, located in Sydney, has two main objectives:[1]
- Production of distinctive research and fresh policy options for Australia’s international policy.
- Promoting wide discussion of Australia’s role in the world
