I've taken most of the information for this article off the original documents that came with the disk and an annual subscription for $29.95. Others may be able to fill in some of the technical details, but I know from personal experience that among the few hundred thousand Mac users of the time, Underground Courier was an important development and the segue for many of us into an AOL subscription when it became available.
