Eventology is the name used by Oleg Yu. Vorobyev (Siberian Federal University) for his theory (from about 2000 onwards) — a kind of probability theory — which he claims — but without any verifiable justification — is of "practical significance" both for "philosophical questions" and "economic, social and other questions in different applied fields" and has "advanced to the foremost boundaries of natural sciences and human sciences".
