Nancy Pelosi (1940-?) is a Democratic congressional representative from California. She has led the Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2003. She is the first woman to lead either party in Congress. She has served twice as Speaker of the House (2007–2011, and since 2019), and twice as House Minority Leader (2003–2007 and 2011–2019).
