:I'm sure I know less about this stuff than you do. I read the word (until today unknown to me) when reading about the history of astronomy. Google gave me the impression that it was one of the techniques of astrology. I still have my school dictionary of Greek, so I played the etymologist. How does it differ from Astology?
Is it just an important component of Astrology, or what? I'm certainly a Know-Nothing about Astrology, but it certainly sounds about the same to me.
