The Komatsu 930E is a model of Ultra class dump truck.[1][2]
The Komatsu 930E is notable for being one of the largest models of trucks ever manufactured.[1] [3] It is a hybrid vehicle whose wheels are driven by alternating current electric motors, like the slightly larger Liebherr T 282B. Older technology large trucks, like the Caterpillar 797B have their diesel motors connected to their driving wheels through a traditional mechanical transmission and drive train.

By 2004 Komatsu had manufactured 300 model 930E trucks.[4]
Komatsu also manufactures the Komatsu 830E, using similar technology, but with a bucket capacity of only 231,000 kilograms.
