Hello. You can't import a number of random Wikipedia articles if you are not going to work on it. It makes you seem like a bot. :Hello and welcome. To add to the above, CZ's Editorial Council passed a ruling a while back that prohibits importation of material from other internet encyclopaedias unless the uploader is an active contributor to CZ and wrote most of it themselves, or they have the permission of the EC. See [http://ec.citizendium.org/wiki/EC:PR-2010-013/Importation_of_articles here]. Thanks. [[User:John Stephenson|John Stephenson]] 10:28, 22 October 2011 (UTC) | :Hello and welcome. Welcome!
Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Anton Sweeney 13:07, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
your edits makes you look like a bot
Hello. You can't import a number of random Wikipedia articles if you are not going to work on it. It makes you seem like a bot. (Chunbum Park 10:07, 22 October 2011 (UTC))
- Hello and welcome. To add to the above, CZ's Editorial Council passed a ruling a while back that prohibits importation of material from other internet encyclopaedias unless the uploader is an active contributor to CZ and wrote most of it themselves, or they have the permission of the EC. See here. Thanks. John Stephenson 10:28, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
